Artist's Description
This fir tree with trunks that were no less than 150 feet tall each, was located between two homes that were only 50 feet apart. In order to remove the tree after an ice storm, tree cutters had to carefully remove the tree in sections. I happened to see the action as they were about half way finished. I grabbed my camera and I snapped off these shoots. The cuts were about 24 inches in diameter and 6 to 8 foot long. Looking closely you can see the cable system to lower the sections as well as the wood chips in the air, coming from the chainsaw.

It is very special and different set - dramatic and symbolic. I like it very much. BTW Which camera is the best? The one you have with you. Congratulations!
