Artist's Description
On December 6, 2013, the southern Willamette Valley received an unusual 7 inch snow storm, as well as 6 days of temps as low as -12. I have several hummers that spend the night in a large rhododendron bush. These little birds allowed me to get very close, do to the fact that I brought them fresh warm food each morning. I took this photo with a muted flash. I believe this allowed me to show the detail of the color and feathers of this male Anna's.
