Artist's Description
In 1993, lighting strikes caused a large forest fire that burned thousands of acres of timber between Davis Lake and Crescent Junction in the Cascade Mountains of Oregon. Twenty years later these tree snags rise amongst the snow bush that carpets the many acres of devastation.

Love that message that photo sent. That fire can destroy anything. It's an awesome photo. F/w/f/v

Thank you kindly for viewing, your thoughts are very much appreciated. Having worked in the wood industry and fighting several of these fires, there is much more than just trees destroyed.
