Description
An almost white variation of the Oregon wild iris, along a tranquil timbered road.This iris can be found in the Spring along the western slopes of the Cascades, as well as the Coast Range. Scientifically known as Iris Tenax. The iris is usually lavender blue to purple, depending on the local soil conditions. Other colors can vary from white, to yellow, to pink and colors in between.
