Description
For several years I have had a decorative birdhouse on my porch railing. This spring a pair of mountain chickadees have decided to grow a family. This is the third of a sequence of photos, showing the progress. This photo was shot on 6/5. The rate of growth can be seen from the photo on 5/28 to 6/5. I hope you enjoy this sequence as well as my wife and I have enjoyed watching the progress, as their nest is only 3 feet from our back door. Hopefully the wife and I will be home when the chicks leave the nest, which should be very soon.

Thank you for viewing Jai, I appreciate your comment. I took this photo in early morning and we had to leave. When we returned in early afternoon, the chicks had taken flight. But the good news is that all seven and the parents still come to my feeders, in fact they where here this morning.
